EMtron ETC4 EGT Terminated Kit

The EMtron Thermocouple to CAN 4-Channel (A.K.A. ETC4) is a device that offers 4 channels of Exhaust Gas Temperature data input via CAN to any of the ECUs in the EMtron range, from the SL4 to the KV16, as well as any of the plug-ins.

From saving time diagnosing misfires, cylinder imbalances and other engine problem areas, to optimizing the calibration's fuel and ignition curves, EGT data is very valuable to have.

As such, we have started offering a fully-terminated product for the EMtron ETC4, utilizing super-responsive, 1/4" thermocouple probes. These have a lightning-fast 150ms response time, and are rated up to 1300C or 2300F, well above what your gas, ethanol or methanol powered engine should be running.

With 6ft long (72 inch, 1.82 meter) leads, you should have plenty of length to install the sensor and box anywhere near the engine and in some cases even inside the passenger compartment to provide longer life to the electronics.

• 4x Pre-terminated 0.250" (1/4") Open-Tip, 90* Degree EGT Probes (6ft length, longer available)
• 4x Weld-on EGT compression fittings, ferrules and nuts
• 2x 120-ohm resistors for CAN Termination, if needed.

Sensor got damaged? Don't worry! We have decided to make individual connections for each sensor at the sensor-to-box interface harness so that you can get individual sensors that are also pre-terminated from us when needed.
