Perfect for the DIY wire harness builder as well as the professional wiring harness fabricator looking for a cost effective way to terminate their Subaru/Toyota DIY harness project. This is a two-piece design that screws together using heated inserts and countersunk screws.

Two Options:

DIY Assembly, screws and heated inserts included but not installed. If you have experience with applying heated inserts to plastic parts, this will save you some money.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF HEATED INSERTS DAMAGING THE PART. IF YOU ARE UNSURE, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED YOU BUY THE PRE-INSTALLED HEATSERTS.

or

Fully Assembled, which comes with heated inserts pre-installed.

These are a custom one-off design that we use internally on our motorsports-grade harnesses for 08+ STIs. We position our splice points inside the cavity designed for that, and terminate the connector with a nice, clean look as well as protecting the wires from possible damage as well as dust and debris, by using a Raychem 202K174 or 222K174  boot (xxxK163 will work as well, although special care will need to be taken when shrinking as the back shell is about as large as the unshrunk boot opening).

You can find this boot from both:

 RaceSpecOnline.com

As well as

 ProWireUSA

Please note that while this is a 3D Printed product, the finish quality and durability are both great and adequate for their intended use. 3D Printing was chosen as a method of manufacture because it allows us to offer you an incredible price-to-performance ratio as well as a quality that punches well above its weight class. Saving on CNC and Injection Molded part production allows us to offer these to you at a very competitive price.

FITMENT NOTES:

* 202K/222K "174" size boot or "163" size boot compatible and recommended. "174" shrinks larger on the tail end, so if the harness is small, we recommend using the "163" size.

** May fit other boots.

This back shell
is FDM 3D Printed in-house with our engineering-grade printer. It is strong, as we utilize a carbon fiber-reinforced nylon material. These are a lower-cost option aimed at the enthusiast building a harness using less expensive materials.
